About TRaids & TC-Companion

The Story        TRaids, LLC was christened on February 14th, 2002, in the State of Illinois, United States of America. MIS veteran Rollin Girulat brings over 40 years of systems design expertise to the equities trading arena. Initially confused by the blizzard of "winning" strategies, tips, and advice and disappointed by the systems testing tools that he investigated, Rollin decided to design his own program that would be open ended and could be used to develop and test trading strategies using TC2000/Telechart 2005 as the base data source. TC-Companion       The inaugural product, TC-Companion (TCC), provides charting options for additional technical indicators not available to TC2000/Telechart 2005 users and provides a full Backtesting system that focuses equally on Setup and Exit strategies. All of this was designed using the PCF design approach to ease the learning process for existing TC2000/Telechart 2005 and to serve as a companion, not a replacement for the TC2000/Telechart 2005 program product. Develoment History         TCC v2 reflects the results of several months of testing and enhancements added as a result of feedback from hundreds of users of the TC2000/Telechart 2005 Users club. TCC v3 introduced the ability to backtest Money Management strategies to determine optimal trade size and tie-breakers when multiple trades presented themselves on the same day. TCC v4 added advance functionality by including Optimization capabilities, more powerful PCF capabilities, Custom Watchlist tracking and more. Development Future       TCC v4 will advance functionality by including Optimization capabilities, more powerful PCF capabilities, Custom Watchlist tracking and more. Coming next will be English interface to reduce the complexity of learning PCFs. More complicated Setup condition checking, advanced Fibonacci support, and still more indicators will be added..
