Do I need to have TC2000 or TCNet to use TC-Companion? |
Yes, you do need a current copy of TC2000 to obtain end
of day data plus to gain access to the Systems
Development Kit (SDK) that allows access to the Worden
data.

I am an existing TCC Version 3 customer. Do
I have to upgrade to Version 4? |
No, you can remain a Version 3 customer indefinitely.
However the newer version has many features and
enhancements making it a worthwhile investment.

My trial copy of TC-Companion has expired.
What should I do? |
If you wish to continue using TCC, you
will need to purchase a license. A free trial can only
be done once every six months.

Will I lose my existing PCFs and Strategies
if I upgrade to Version 3? |
No. If you install the upgrade package, your exisiting
PCFs and Strategies will remain untouched and ready for
use. If you do a full install, you will overlay your
existing PCFs and Scans inside TC-Companion

I am at the end of my 7 day trial and want
to purchase. Do I need to reinstall? |
Unless TCC has announced a new release or update, there
is no need for further downloads. Simply purchase the
product, apply your unlock code and you are all done.
Any PCFs or Scans built during the trial period will
also remain in your system.

Do I need to have Microsoft Excel to use TC-Companion? |
No, Microsoft Excel is not a requirement. TCC does allow
output to a comma delimited file format (csv) which is
readilble by most SpreadSheet programs including Works
and Lotus1-2-3 as well as many of the newer Open Office
suites for Microsoft Windows.

How does TC-Companion work with TCNet? |
All of TC-Companion's features are available thru TCNet
but using TCNet's end of day data only. At present,
TCNet does not make the real-time data available to TC-Companion
or any other products. You can download "end of day"
data every 20 minutes and that data is immediately
available to TC-Companion.

Can I run TC-Companion on two computers
with one license? |
You are allowed to run TC-Companion on one home computer
and one work or traveling laptop at no additional cost.

Will TC-Companion work with Telechart 2005? |
Yes, it works now almost perfectly. At March month end, a free update for Version 4 users will be released to re-establish two minor features, PCF importing from Telechart 2005 and Telechart screen synchronization with TC-Companion.

Yes. TC-Companion allows you to use both Telechart for stocks and Telechart for Mutual Funds.
